Dana Anthony

Dana has been building custom, speculative and multi-family homes, as well as commercial projects in the Lake Wylie / York County, SC and Charlotte, NC metro area since 1978.

After a tour of duty in Vietnam  and Honorable discharge from the United States Air Force , he lived in Orlando, Florida  where he attended and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Marketing.  Dana and his family made a corporate move to the Charlotte area in 1976. In mid 1977, with interest rates exceeding twenty percent, he left the security of a Fortune 500 company to follow a dream and become a home builder. Following a degree in real estate at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, North Carolina and completing the required courses for the Graduate Builders Institute designation at NC State University helped give Dana a strong foundation of knowledge to properly manage and oversee the intricacies of a home building company.

An active member in the building industry and his local community, Dana is a past President of the Home Builders Association of York County, SC, past District Vice President of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina, past President of the Lake Wylie, SC Chamber of Commerce, past Commodore of the River Hills Yacht Club, as well as serving three years as an EMT on a local rescue squad. As a licensed real estate broker in both North and South Carolina, Dana also operated Dana Anthony Realty in Lake Wylie until selling the business to another firm.

The majority of the time you’ll find Dana on his construction sites personally taking charge of each project.

Dana also designs many of the homes that are built by Dana Anthony Custom Homes.

Duane Stanek
Duane Stanek is an associate focusing on business development and client satisfaction.  He is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
Duane and his wife Sandy are residents of Lake Wylie who lived in a home custom built by Dana Anthony Custom Homes in 2000.  From there, the client/builder relationship developed into a friendship followed by a business association with a goal of continuing to serve past and future clients of Dana Anthony Custom Homes, as well as helping the company expand its business as the Clover, Lake Wylie area experiences a rapid growth in population and commerce.  Duane brings a forty year background in health care with an emphasis in client satisfaction and retention to Dana Anthony Custom Homes.  He and Sandy are formerly from the Chicago metro area.  While there, Duane gained construction experience building and renovating their many homes.  He also had the opportunity to build and market a number of speculative homes.  Duane is a licensed and bonded South Carolina Residential Builder.

Duane and Sandy are members of the All Saints Catholic Mission and are active in supporting the Clover Area Assistance Center.  Duane is also a board member of the Home Builders Association of York County, board member of the River Hills Lions Club and a member of The Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce.
